BitSpirit is a nice little torrent client that doesn't sell your privacy or data to the highest bidder. Its very low on resources, and downloads rather fast. I actually found BitSpirit has a better average download speed better than uTorrent in general.

There are some negatives as well. First off it's not as user friendly as other torrent clients like uTorrent. Secondly while it has an IP filter, it's not easy to find nor is there a way to know if it truly updated.

All and all there are torrent clients that offer more but no other combined stability, download speed and privacy like BitSpirit does.
